Here’s how to stay one step ahead of the summer crowds: plan to start your day with us at 9 AM, before the Hersheypark rush arrives for its later opening. You’ll enjoy a more relaxed experience and shorter lines for our most popular attractions. Not a morning person? Wind down with us after our neighbors close — snacks, shopping, and chocolatey goodness goes well with a sunset, if you ask us.
HERSHEY’S Chocolate Tour Ride Tips
Our FREE tour ride, which requires no ticket and runs continuously throughout operating hours, is not to be missed! Because it’s a fan favorite, it can get busy during the summer months, so plan to ride when the wait times are shortest or you may miss valuable chocolate time waiting in line.
Didn't Plan Ahead? Activities for Last-Minute Do-ers
Not a color-coded itinerary planner? Don’t worry, we’ve got hacks for day-of deciders, too! Check out REESE'S Stuff Your Cup — where our tasteologists make the extra-large REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup of your dreams right in front of you — or one of our other DIY dessert creations, most of which do not require advance reservations. There are also plenty of FREE activities, like our jungle oasis, character meet-and-greets, and seasonal events.
Online Food Ordering = Less Waiting
You’re here for the experience of a lifetime, not the lines. Once you arrive, use our new online food ordering system to skip the wait and get straight to the good stuff. (Note: not for pre-arrival orders, just a smart move once you’re here!) Head to the Food Hall, look for QR codes and choose personal pickup or table service.
Keep Your Candy Cool
We’ll help you keep your goodies from melting with our insulated bags. Pro hack: if you need ice packs, ask about them at check-out, too! And if you splurged a little too much, no worries.
