HERSHEY'S CHIPITS Baked Chocolate Chip Donuts

  • 2 cups
    flour (500 mL)
  • 3/4 cup
    sugar (175 mL)
  • 2 tsps
    baking powder (10 mL)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt (2 mL)
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg (1 mL)

  • 1 cup
    milk (250 mL)
  • 1 tbsp
    vegetable oil (15 mL)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract (5 mL)
  • 1 cup
    white buttercream or cream cheese frosting (250 mL)
  • pink gel food colouring

Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Spray two 6-hole donut pans with non-stick spray.


In a large bowl, combine the first five dry ingredients. Mix in eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract. Stir in HERSHEY’S CHIPITS Milk Chocolate Chips.


Pour batter into prepared donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.


While donuts are cooling, add a thin ribbon of gel food colouring to a cup of frosting and mix well. The frosting should have a very pale pink hue; remember, with gel food colouring, a little goes a long way! Frost three donuts at a time. Add a little more food colouring to the frosting, mix well, and frost three more donuts. Repeat twice for the remaining six donuts. Decorate with HERSHEY'S CHIPITS Milk Chocolate Chips!
